At the Global Tourism Summit, where tourism brands competed to showcase services and solutions, Globant chose a different path, not to explain the future of tourism, but to let people step inside it.
Our approach was to design an immersive, tech-driven experience that reimagined the future of airports. Rather than a traditional booth, we created a fully interactive journey, a miniature airport ecosystem powered by personalization, sensors, and intelligent technology.
Before entering the space, guests registered through facial recognition linked to email and QR code. The moment they stepped inside, the environment responded to them, welcoming them by name, guiding them through a personalized passenger journey, and simulating future airport touchpoints. Pathways displayed custom check-in and boarding times, while a reimagined duty-free experience demonstrated frictionless purchasing, where removing an item from a shelf instantly triggered a purchase confirmation.
The result was a booth that didn’t just attract attention, it stopped people in their tracks. Visitors were intrigued, engaged, and visibly excited by what the future could look like, positioning Globant as a visionary force shaping what’s next in global travel.
